Originally from the Wirral, multi award-winning author Andrew graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics. For his MSc, Andrew completed several projects in Pure Mathematics before moving to the applications of Mathematics and the University of Manchester. There, he developed analytic techniques for dynamic models of biological regulatory networks for his PhD.
Andrew is a co-founder (together with Dr. Ebrahim Patel) of an ambitious writing group. Their research into Markov processes has been published by the renowned Applied Probability Trust, their prize-winning papers by the Institute of Mathematics & its Applications while their teaching pieces have been accepted by Cambridge University and the historic Mathematical Association.
